A. Community Events

1) PCHAIN appointed Dr. Yan Heping as the Senior Financial Expert.
Yan Heping
· Doctor in computer science at Fudan University, senior engineers.
· Engaged in research and development of large-scale computer system, performance capacity/project/technical management and other positions in ICBC ( Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ) more than 10 years.
· Rich experience in research and development, technical management and operation.
· Many research and practical achievements have won the first prize of the CBRC (China Banking Regulatory Commission) and the people’s bank of China.
· Many invention patents and thesis achievements.
2) PCHAIN appointed Yin David Yang as the Chief Security Scientist
Yin “David” Yang (Security and Cryptography)
· Founding faculty in the ICT division of Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
· PhD in Computer Science from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
· PhD thesis topic: authenticated data structures (such as novel variants of Merkle trees) and authenticated query processing techniques.
· Publications in top security venues such as ACM CCS, and top data management venues such as ACM SIGMOD.
· Served as Program Committee in ACM SIGMOD and organizer in ACM CIKM.
· Best paper award in IEEE IC2E.
C. Development Progress
1) Our testnet has been extended to 100 nodes; reach consensus and generate blocks successfully.
2) Developed the code of saving epoch information from child chain to main chain.
3) Started writing the code of new crypto curve to reduce the sign data volume.
4) Started writing the code of creating a new child chain based on the new standard.
5) Design new test schemes to detect the boundary of performance.
6) Keep improving internal auto-test framework.
D. Conferences and Talks
1.Dr. Feng Cao was invited to attend The 2nd Session of China (Xuzhou) International Service Outsourcing Cooperation Conference.
On the conference, he analyzed the development trend of global block chain and shared PCHAIN’s grouping, cross-chain, multi-chain, knowledge graph and smart data, and these technical advantages of PCHAIN will be how to address blockchain’s international cooperation and innovative applications more effectively.
2. Dr. Yan was invited to attend the Taxation and Financial Big Data of Xuzhou.
On June 22, 2018, the symposium on Fiscal, Taxation and Financial Big Data of Xuzhou was successfully held by the people’s government of Yunlong district, Xuzhou.
PCHAIN’s senior financial experts, Dr. Yan was invited to attend this seminar, and discuss how to establish a regional financial and taxation service platform, to provide large data services based on large data analysis platform, so as to better the implementation of the large data industry contribution and value for government and enterprises, as well as the innovation of the enterprise development to build interactive communication, project promotion platform with municipal finance bureau, bureau, local taxation bureau, municipal administration of large data, such as city leaders and each big bank deputy governor.
